About me

Dwayne is a Berlin based artist born and raised in New York. He studied painting and sculpture in Brooklyn and began his career as an artist assistant in NYC, working on museum quality projects before moving to Berlin where he helped create a popular T-shirt brand from 2010 to 2017. His creative journey has ranged from casting room sized plastic sculptures to introducing what became known as the Berlin hipster hat, screen printing tote bags and even making soap shaped like light bulbs.

Today Dwayne focuses on original artworks and golden sculptures. His Mini Gallery showcases decades of his work printed on handmade Indian rag paper and has accompanied him on ten long distance trips outside Berlin via Deutsche Bahn, which is an achievement in itself.

In many ways, it all comes full circle: Dwayne’s first foray into art and entrepreneurship began in childhood, selling Michael Jackson Thriller souvenirs on the streets of Queens, NY with his Uncle.
