Chest of Gold

Chest of Gold is inspired by my love for Greek and Roman art and evokes the feel of a idealized Roman sculpture. The golden male chest is a relief casting, covered with gold leaf, and mounted on handcrafted paper, designed to look rustic, like an ancient artifacts. Each piece is unique, as both the paper and castings are handmade by me in my little apartment in Berlin. 

Every work is unique and purposefully imperfect, echoing the marks of the human hand and the spirit of an ancient artist.
